Masterpiece Doors and Shutters are all hand finished.

 Our artisans take great pride in turning our solid composite products into "works of art".  Through a series of meticulous  techniques,  our products come to life.  We do offer a solid painted finish, whereby you supply us with the paint code of Sherwin Williams brand paints and we will pre-finish your doors or shutters in your color. But, we are most famous for our Bronze and Rustic Finishes.  

Our Bronze Finish is a cold plated solid bronze metallic coating that once applied,  gives our products a glow and luster that is unmatched by any other finish.  Our Real bronze is patinaed by hand to advance the aging and weathering process, then hand rubbed to bring out the golden highlights characteristic of masterpiece bronze statuary. The result is a beautiful "old-world" chocolate/gold variable color with depth and dimension.  These photos illustrate the beautiful variable nature of our Bronze Finish.  Like fine wine, our real bronze finish will only get more beautiful with time. Our Bronze finish is highly variable, if you like a perfect even smooth car like finish..... don't choose our bronze finish.  The beauty in this finish is in its character.

Our Rustic Finish is another hand made labor of love.  Each product is hand distressed, faux aged, planked and worn.  Sometimes outfitted with clavos, strap hinges and iron brackets, our Rustic Finish looks 500 years old.  It's great to be able to work with a space-age material but give it any old-world charm.  Of course, this is another treatment exclusive to Masterpiece Doors and Shutters.  Think how fabulous this looks to have a matching Entry Unit, Garage Door and Shutters in  our Rustic Finish. You can choose from Our Rustic Mahogany, Rustic Walnut or Rustic Black and you can mix the grills or design elements to have contrast.
