What's New at Masterpiece
Doors and Shutters.................
We thought it might be fun to make a page that shows some of the
projects we are currently working on. We meet a lot of interesting folks
that have some great ideas about projects we can make so we thought you'd like
to see them too. I'll update this page as often as I can so come back, you
never know, you might get some ideas from this yourself and wind up with a
project here too!
 
This job started off ordinarily enough. I see these entries all the
time. It is a challenge to fit new doors into such an odd size opening.
But our customer showed some real fortitude and and thought that 10' doors
would still work. Boy were they right. They told me this is
the "favorite" feature of their home and placed new orders for
garage doors and a side door we are making now. I'll update you on
that project next week. |

Made this Composite Entry for a Mountain Home in Utah. They went
with the Authentic Iron Grills and our Rustic Walnut finish. Pretty
spectacular, I hope they send some photo's

Paul Ardi from Granite Bay CA., is replacing his Entry Door set with
this bronze vineyard theme. I haven't actually finished it with the
glass and hardware yet but I couldn't wait to put it's progress up.
You won't recognize the grill pattern from our collection because he
picked it out from another resource then added the grapes and the
carvings in the panels. Good Job Paul, this will one of our most unique
and beautiful entries ever! This will be a conversation piece for
years to come once it is installed. |

The Moonan's came back and ordered one of our bath window grills.
You can't tell but it's finished in our weathered bronze and goes
perfectly with their bath decor. |
The last of this weeks projects are these outstanding rustic garage
doors. We pulled out all the stops with these doors. They feature,
radius gothic panel, hand huned rustic walnut finish with about a million
iron powder coated clavo's, ornate- split scroll hinges, winterlake glass,
ornate powder coated levers with backplates and 18ft. long!! Look's
like 2.....but its just 1 door.

Another small order but this is her "Pantry" door! She
sent us a sample of her distressed kitchen cabinets and said we got it
"perfect"
Now I want to see her kitchen,... I'll send the pics if I get them.
